Privacy Policy
This policy explains information handling for Jade Sonata: Mahjong Piano. Luthfi Studio is the existing publisher name for the Android, iOS and Web editions. References to the developer below mean the provider of the edition you use.
Information kept on your device
The installed game stores progress, settings, mistakes, hints, retries, key-press timing, performance takes and adaptive-difficulty summaries in app-private storage. These records support saving, replay, scoring and adjusting future levels. Performances contain game events, not microphone recordings.
Game records and platform sign-in
Full saves, performance events, first/last open times, usage counters and the installation’s random board seed stay on the device. Online summaries require your consent, as described below. The Android, iOS, Web, WeChat mini-game and Douyin mini-game gameplay does not create a developer account. The HarmonyOS version uses Huawei Game Service Kit for Huawei ID sign-in, identity verification and play-eligibility checks, which require a network connection. The native integration temporarily holds the returned game player identifier and eligibility information in memory; it does not send these identifiers to the Web game, save them in the game database or send them to a developer server. Huawei processes service information under the Game Services statement it presents. There are no third-party analytics SDKs or cloud-save synchronization. The HarmonyOS edition offers optional Huawei advertisements as described below; the other editions do not request these ads. VWork provides online difficulty advice with your consent. Game artwork, level data, scores, piano samples and these legal documents are packaged locally.
Optional HarmonyOS advertising
Only if you choose an ad in the pause or result panel and agree to the displayed notice do we request an interstitial through Huawei Ads Kit (Huawei Software Technologies Co., Ltd.). Huawei processes device and application information, network information including IP address, and ad impressions, clicks and interactions for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention under its Ads Kit personal-data statement. Its published scope also includes ODID and other device identifiers, device settings/status, carrier and sensor information, and Huawei-service data as applicable to the service and your choices. The complete list and rights instructions are at https://developer.huawei.com/consumer/cn/doc/doccenter-capabilities/description-of-personal-data. We request non-personalized, all-audiences advertising. Production ad requests do not read OAID. Huawei public test inventory requires OAID: test builds request the system tracking permission separately and read it only after permission is granted. The identifier is not logged, stored by our app or sent to VWork. No saves, performance events or Huawei game-player identifiers are sent by our ad adapter. A local last-display timestamp limits frequency. Skipping, denying permission or an ad failure never changes hints, retries, progress or rewards. Do not watch ads to continue playing. Advertising and clicked destinations use Huawei and advertiser services rather than our game backend; their retention is governed by their policies, and we do not promise a deletion period. Contact us for relevant data requests.
Permissions
Android declares Internet access for automatic difficulty decisions; HarmonyOS declares Internet access for those decisions, Huawei game services and optional ads. Only advertising test builds request APP_TRACKING_CONSENT after you choose to watch; denial does not affect gameplay. iOS and Web use HTTPS networking without requesting a separate Internet permission. Gameplay does not request microphone, camera, location, contacts, phone, SMS or broad media/storage access. A backup is written only to a location you select in the system file panel.
Automatic difficulty decisions
Only after you consent to online advice at first play or in Settings, when there is enough play history and a new level can be prepared, the game sends a summary of up to 12 recent attempts plus cumulative launch, attempt, clear, failure, retry, correct-clear, mistake, hint and highest learning level counts since installation or a learning reset over HTTPS to the game’s VWork backend, which uses VWork’s built-in model decision service. The shared backend currently runs in Singapore; mainland-China deployment and access remain subject to verification before those editions launch. The summary contains the next level number, play mode, current/local difficulty, sample confidence, attempt and decision counts, accuracy, hints, median decision time, hesitation count, clear/retry/assistance rates, clear/failure streaks, distinct cleared levels, the last outcome, trends over the latest three attempts and last-attempt assistance/retry counts. It contains no name, email, device or advertising ID, Huawei player identifier, raw key events, performance recording, calendar date or full save. VWork receives ordinary client request metadata, including the IP address. VWork’s built-in model service and its configured inference providers process the backend’s summaries. Provider credentials stay on the backend and are not included in the game package. This information is used to select a suitable next challenge, not advertising or cross-app tracking. Provider infrastructure may process data outside your country.
Virtual mahjong companion
Nan Nan keeps its name, age, growth, energy, musical fullness, care, favorite earned passages, shared memories, chosen seats and settings on this installation. It is virtual game state, not an assessment of human mental health, and requires no microphone. Only if you separately allow Online pet personalization in pet settings, the game sends a bounded HTTPS summary to the same Singapore VWork backend and its configured AI service: pet age, energy/fullness, current level and mode, whether assistance was used, recent successful actions/errors/recoveries, cumulative completion/recovery counts, familiarity with the current passage, improvement and available rhythm-match evidence. Requests carry ordinary metadata such as IP. Names, saved memories, raw input, recordings and full saves are not uploaded. This purpose is separate from difficulty advice. Turning it off cancels pending work and stops pet summaries; offline care and growth continue. Accepted pet decisions use a hashed-summary cache for about three minutes and aggregate request-budget counters for about two minutes. Provider logs remain subject to the practices below. Pet-record import restores only the companion, not current levels or music, and does not import online permission. Explicit clipboard actions copy or read backup JSON locally; backups are never automatically uploaded.
Remote processing and retention
This build does not maintain a developer analytics database. Detailed local retention events and activity timestamps stay on the device; only the aggregate learning counts described above are sent. VWork stores hashed summary cache keys and validated decisions for up to five minutes, and aggregate request-budget counters for up to two days; it does not store full saves or performance events. VWork and its configured inference providers handle network and service logs under their service practices; we do not promise zero logging or an unverified deletion period. Resetting local learning does not delete previously transmitted requests or provider logs. Contact us for information about processing, retention or a deletion request; we will assess the request with the relevant provider.
Exports you choose
You can explicitly export a backup using the system save or share panel. The destination you select receives that file and handles it under its own policies. We do not automatically upload backups. Exported copies outside the app remain under your control and must be deleted separately.
Retention and your choices
Local records remain until you clear app data or uninstall the game. Progress belongs to this device and is not a Huawei cloud save; switching Huawei accounts does not automatically erase or migrate that local progress. You can reset local learning without deleting earned progress. Choose Agree & start after the first-use notice, or enable online advice in Settings. Turn off online advice there anytime to cancel pending work and stop summaries. Local learning and gameplay remain available. This does not erase received data or provider logs; contact support about those records. Network failures fall back to local rules and do not block the board. Android automatic cloud backup is disabled for this app. Keep your own exported copy if you need a backup; clearing app data can permanently remove local records.
Support correspondence
If you email our support address, we receive the address and information you choose to send and use them to respond and resolve the request. We retain correspondence only as needed for support and applicable obligations. Do not send unnecessary sensitive information. Contact us if you want to ask about or request deletion of information you sent us.
Website and external links
Opening the public website or an external link requires an Internet connection and sends ordinary web-request information, such as an IP address and browser information, to the receiving service and hosting providers. The Web game uses OpenAI Sites; the current official website and public legal pages use VWork. Previous GitHub Pages copies remain available. The hosting services handle requests under their own policies. The Web game keeps full saves in your browser; it sends the limited summaries described above for difficulty decisions. Clearing browser storage can remove those saves. Website traffic is separate from native Huawei sign-in and compliance checks. Android/iOS gameplay can continue using local rules when offline; the HarmonyOS game requires access to Huawei services for sign-in and eligibility verification.
Security and children
The installed games use app-private storage and expose exported files only through user-initiated saving or sharing. No method guarantees protection from device loss or unauthorized access to an unlocked device. We do not ask players to type their age or identity-document number into our game. The HarmonyOS version delegates identity and minor-protection checks to Huawei Game Services and does not manufacture a real-name or adult status. A parent or guardian can contact us about information a child has sent through support.
Changes and contact
We will reflect changes in this policy and its effective date. For privacy questions or requests, contact the provider of your edition at the email address below.
